The caliber (V187) in model SUT038 uses a rechargeable ion cell that is designed for multiple charging and discharging cycles. It takes about eight hours of exposure to light of about 700 lux (e.g. fluorescent light) to get consistent and steady operation, and about 100 hours for a full charge; this caliber carries a two month charge once it is fully charged. As such, the watch should be exposed to the proper light intensity as outlined in the Instruction Manual to get the desired operational result/time for full charge.
