The Seiko Men's Velatura Kinetic GMT Watch boasts an assertive design of silver, stainless steel band and bezel with a dial of textured dark blue. Six silver bolts securing the case and bezel together give this watch a striking appearance. Luminous, silver-toned hands stand out on the island of Mediterranean blue. Around the dial are two contrasting half-circles--sky blue at the top and crimson red below. The darker-hued inner bezel features a GMT 24-hour dial with light-gray Arabic numerals in increments of two from 2 to 24. The blue dial has a silver-toned triangular wedge at twelve o'clock. An assortment of circles and rectangles mark the remaining indices. A window of antireflective sapphire protects the dial, which also houses a date function at the first quarter-hour. This model's additional distinctions include water-resistance to 330 feet (100 meters), a fold-over push-button clasp, and the precision of Japanese quartz movement.
